I hope you are all keeping safe and well.
Just a quick one; more info on the Dark Outside broadcast, as threatened!
This will be happening tomorrow (Saturday 4th April), starting at 12.00 midday, finishing some time after midday Sunday. I can’t tell you what time my contribution will be played as no one knows until it happens, so there is an element of chance involved here! But why not listen to the whole thing (if you have the stamina!), or dip in and out of it? The Dark Outside broadcasts are eclectic, always interesting, and normally you would have to travel to a remote forest to hear them!
The track I submitted is my own loopy version of Picforth’s ‘In Nomine a 5’, a 16th-century viol piece. Some of you may know I’ve been obsessed with this piece for many years, so I really enjoyed working on it. It’s a one-off, so if you want to hear it you will need to tune in tomorrow.
