Friday 22nd July at Chapter 22 Roots and Records in Bath.

I’ll be introducing some brand new material (although a lot of the ‘older’ stuff still feels ‘new’ as I’ve only had a couple of chances to play it for you since Rota Fortunae II was released last year!) There will be more live dates announced soon so if you’re nowhere near Bath, don’t despair – just watch this space. But if you are near Bath, see you there! I can hardly wait!

]]> This has been in the pipeline for a while… Delighted to be able to share it with you! Occasionally, other people’s songs ‘fall under the hammers’ so well that they could have been written for the dulcimer. I’ve always loved this song by Spear of Destiny and when I found that it had this rare hammer-friendly quality I had to cover it. Even better, Emily Bailey, who created the visual alchemy for ‘For Barely One in a Thousand (The Practice of Lights)’ was inspired to make this spectacular video. Special thanks to Kirk Brandon for allowing me to attack his song with my hammers!
