Delighted to be playing for my friends at Chapter22 Roots and Records again, this time as part of the Bath Festival.

The plan is to play two sets, so expect some material that’s so new I haven’t even written it yet, some older stuff that I haven’t played in a while, and of course plenty of medieval delights.

Delighted to be asked by my friends at Brixton Hill Studios to perform at their AGM again!

Sunday 21st August at the Windmill, Brixton. NB: starts in the afternoon! 3pm.

This event is always good fun. Like a mini-festival, with a multiplicity of diverse bands and artistes, plus a BBQ (get there early for that)! More details here.

What with one thing and another it has been a while since I’ve played live (except at academic conferences!), so I’ve been looking forward to announcing this.

Friday 22nd July at Chapter 22 Roots and Records in Bath.

I’ll be introducing some brand new material (although a lot of the ‘older’ stuff still feels ‘new’ as I’ve only had a couple of chances to play it for you since Rota Fortunae II was released last year!) There will be more live dates announced soon so if you’re nowhere near Bath, don’t despair – just watch this space. But if you are near Bath, see you there! I can hardly wait!

It’s the fifth Curate’s Egg event, hosted by Stephen Evens. 2.30 to 6pm at the trusty Betsey Trotwood in Farringdon. NB: it’s an afternoon show, so you won’t be late to bed on a school night. Also NB it’s the day after the clocks go back – but if you forget and turn up an hour early don’t worry, the lovely Betsey barfolk will look after you!
